What are the steps to move ShipLeap from one computer to another?

This article explains how to move ShipLeap from computer #1 (SOURCE) to computer #2 (TARGET). Make sure you have at least version 9.0.16 installed so that any custom boxes are saved to the cloud

You will have to download 3 things from your SOURCE computer. The PLUGINS, VISION CONNECTION (for PRINTSMITH users) and ADDRESS BOOK.

1. Let's export the PLUGINS first. Go to GEAR > PLUGINS and press the EXPORT button and save the file to a place the TARGET computer can access.

2. Let's export the VISION CONNECTION. Go to GEAR > SETTINGS > VISION CONNECT and press the EXPORT button and save the file to a place the TARGET computer can access.

3. Let's export the ADDRESS BOOK. Go to GEAR > SETTINGS > ADDRESS BOOK. Leave LOCAL selected press the EXPORT button and save the file to a place the TARGET computer can access.

4. Once Version 9.0.16 is installed on the TARGET computer, login and do the reverse. Import the PLUGINS. Go to GEAR > PLUGINS and press the IMPORT button and select the PLUGINS file you created from the SOURCE.

5.  Import the VISION CONNECTION. Go to GEAR > PLUGINS and press the IMPORT button and select the VISION CONNECTION file you created from the SOURCE.

6.  Import the ADDRESS BOOK . Go to GEAR > PLUGINS and press the IMPORT button and select the ADDRESS BOOK  file you created from the SOURCE.

After this, you should have all this connected.

• Address book
• Ship From addressees
• Return addresses
• 3rd Party account setup
• Carriers that have been setup for the account
• Tracking information across the entire company
• Carrier mapping
• Automations
• Custom package sizes
• Connection info to MIS system
