I have a barcode scanner for Vision. Now what?

Here are the steps to start using the barcode scanner to import addresses from PrintSmith Vision.

1. Make sure you have a barcode scanner that was either purchased or programmed by ShipLeap. An "off the shelf" scanner will not work with our software. Plug the scanner into the computer.

2. First, add the barcode plugin. Click on the gear (top right) > Plugins. Select the BarCodeScan on the dropdown.

Enter the url  (do not include /PrintSmith/PrintSmith.html), valid username and password to login to Vision

3.  Add the Lineitems plugin. Click on the gear (top right) > Plugins. Select the VisionCloudLineItems on the dropdown.

Enter the url (do not include /PrintSmith/PrintSmith.html) , valid username and password to login to Vision

4. Close and re-open the ShipLeap app.

5. Scan the barcode on the Printsmith job ticket. If you wait a few seconds, you should see the address info automatically import.
