When you ship a package, you can specify certain options that relate to the shipment. Here are some common options

1. Saturday Delivery - Deliver on Saturday if service is available

2. Delivery Confirmation - Signature will be required

3. Alcohol - Supported for domestic shipments only. For Canada Post, a signature will be required

4. Hold for pickup - Package will wait at the carrier facility for pickup. For example, if you were to ship to a Las Vegas address and specified "Hold for pickup", FedEx would transport the package to the Las Vegas FedEx facility closest to the intended address of the package, and the recipient would need to go to the facility to pick the package up.

5. Shipper-Duties and Taxes -  When you select this option for international shipping, the shipper becomes responsible for all import customs clearance fees, duty fees, and taxes upon delivery. If you do not make a selection (no option is selected), the system defaults to having the receiver pay the duties and taxes.
