Here are the steps to create an international shipment
1. Choose the country and fill in the address
2. Enter the number of boxes that go with your shipment. In this example, we have 2 boxes that were defined. We will put letterhead in box 1 and business cards in box 2.
3. Click on the Customs Info button (located near the ship button on the bottom right).
NOTE: You will not see a rate appear until this section is filled out.
4. On the next popup window, select the "Contents Type:" as Merchandise. Click the plus sign on the top right to add items.
Qty = Quantity of items
Weight = Weight of item (in pounds)
Value = Value of the item in USD
Box = Add the box number that corresponds to the number of boxes you entered in the Ship screen (see red arrow).
HTS (optional) = Harmonized Tariff Schedule. If you have this number, you can enter it here to help the shipment through customs
Sign the bottom left with your first and last name. Finally, click on "I AGREE DATA IS CORRECT"
4. Select the service type as usual
5. When you click the SHIP button on the bottom right, international labels should print. In addition, a PDF with the commercial invoice should also appear. This currently works for UPS, USPS and for FEDEX.
