ShipLeap Release Notes 5.34
New Feature and Improvements

Return Address Feature
22

With this release, you can have 2 addresses: From Address (pickup address) and Return Address. The "From" address is where the package will be picked up and is the default "From" address printed on the label if a "Return" address is not defined. The "From" address is also used to calculate the cost of the shipment. If you want to show a different address on the label (return address), you can specify that address in the new "Return" tab.

So an example might be that you want the shipment to be calculated as picking up from California and the return address (from) should show an address in New York. The "From" address should be California and the "Return" address should be New York.

Reference Fields Show in Track
44

Although not searchable yet, the reference fields now appear in the track tab.

Miscellaneous
  • Printer's Plan new shipping API now supported
  • Cost center now "mappable" in Four51
  • Third party shipping no longer writes a price back to Vision

ShipLeap Release Notes 5.19
New Feature and Improvements

Standard Package Types Included
1

Once you select your carrier of choice (UPS, FEDEX, etc), you will see standard box types available for that carrier. The box sizes should correspond to the boxes that each carrier provides standard. You can still use your custom boxes types (under the dotted line). The dimensions won't show but they will match in our system.

Miscellaneous
5.0 was a major update so we have spent some time fixing bugs after that release. Thanks to all for your patience. Here are some issues that were addressed.
  • Reference number not printed with some shipments.
  • Delivery options were not cleared after every shipment
  • Service type mapping with Four51 and Vision (combined)

ShipLeap Release Notes 5.0
New Features and Improvements

Enhanced Address Validation
3-1

You will notice new icons at the top of the ShipLeap Momentum app. These are indicators that will let you know if a ship-to address is valid, not valid, or incomplete. We are currently validating against the USPS database. You will also notice that we will auto-check the residential checkbox if needed.

  • Green check means the address has been verified
  • Red X means the address is not valid according to USPS
  • Orange "i" means that the address is correct but is incomplete (i.e. suite number is missing)

These messages just provide more information. You can always override and ship away if you decide to ignore the warning.

Save Default Email Preferences
image (3)
You can now save your email preferences so that ShipLeap Momentum will remember when emails  are sent to your clients on future shipments.  https://shipleap.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/48001169099
